The forest owner, nearing his senior years, faced a crucial decision. In three short years, his commercial forest was due for timber harvesting. He wanted to ensure the land's sustainable use, but the traditional path didn't align with his vision. He sought a solution that would preserve the land, promote biodiversity, and cater to eco-conscious travellers who sought serenity and seclusion.

The Klimate Smart Approach

The Klimate Smart Approach: Klimate Smart recognized the opportunity to blend forestry with rewilding. Together with the forest owner, we devised a plan to reimagine the land's potential. The project would not only protect the environment but also welcome visitors to experience the untouched beauty of Kilalla.
